En 1996 Miguel Oliva Sánchez (Alicante 1978) se traslada a Barcelona para cursar estudios de Diseño Industrial en la Escuela Superior de Diseño Elisava donde se gradúa en el año 2000 y, ese mismo año se licencia en Diseño Industrial (Bachelor of Art and with Honours in Design) por la University of Southampton, Inglaterra.
En 2003 se gradua en el “Master in Product, Identity and Interior design” por la Design Academy de Eindhoven dentro del departamento de diseño de producto con la tutoría y dirección del colectivo Holandés Droog Design.
A finales del 2003 vuelve a Barcelona donde colabora profesionalmente con el diseñador Martí Guixé.
En 2004 entra a trabajar en el estudio de Francesc Rifé durante tres años desarrollando proyectos tanto de Interiorismo como de diseño Industrial para empresas como Gandia Blasco, BNB, Martinez Otero, Inbani, Joquer, Ziru, Seiak o Metalarte.
En el verano del 2007 crea su propio estudio de diseño, Miguel Oliva Design, un espacio donde se desarrollan proyectos de diseño industrial y de interiorismo. Entre sus clientes se encuentran empresas como Armand Basi, Colefruse Internacional, Unulight Barcelona, Tanak, Panasonic y Mavi jeans.
In 1996 Miguel Oliva Sánchez (Alicante 1978) moves to Barcelona to study Industrial Design at the Escuela Superior de Diseño Elisava where he finishes in 2000; at the same time he graduates as a Bachelor of Art and Design by the University of Southampton, England.
In 2003 he graduates as “Master in product, Identity and Interior design” by the Design Academy of Eindhoven, focus on product design under the direction and tutoring of the Dutch Design Collective DROOG DESIGN.
At the end of 2003 he moves back to Barcelona where he collaborates with the designer Martí Guixé.
In 2004 he starts to work for the Studio of the Spanish Interior Designer Francesc Rifé. For 3 years he develops projects of both Interior and Industrial Design for companies like Gandia Blasco, BNB, Martinez Otero, Inbani, Joquer, Ziru, Seiak o Metalarte.
In the summer of 2007 he establishes his own studio, Miguel Oliva Design, a spot where Industrial and Interior Design projects are developed. Actually works for companies like Armand Basi, Colefruse International, Unulight Barcelona, Tanak, Panasonic and Mavi jeans.
